Gingka Hagane once said that “A Beyblade's true strength doesn't have anything to do with attack power or stamina, it attacks with the feelings of the Blader that's connected with it”.
This may partly be true; however, a good Jockey needs a good horse, and the same applies to Beyblading.

We have ranked the strongest Beyblades from the original series, the Metal series, the Spin-off, and the newest Burst series.

10. Ashindra

Ashindra Ashura

First up on our list is Ashindra, or Ashura, is a right-spin defense type Beyblade. Without complicating things, the reason for it being known as Ashura and Ashindra is because, in the series and the original toy line Takara Tomy, it’s known as Ashura, but in the western world, it was released by Hasbro as Ashindra in part of the Burst system of toys.

Ashindra befriends Arman Kusaba and becomes his Bey.

9. Kerbeus

Kerbeus

Kerbeus is inspired by Greek mythology and is a pseudonym for Cerberus, who is the three-headed hound of Hades, the God of the Dead. In Beyblade, Kerbeus first makes an appearance in 2015 during the Beyblade Burst series. Throughout various series, Kerbeus takes up a variety of combinations and owners. All of Kerbeus’ versions are right-spin Beyblades. Kerbeus has the highest resistance of all right-spin cores.

We believe that Kerbeus owns the right to be amongst the most powerful Beyblades because of its high Attack and Stamina potential.

He is known for his Defensive strength and is used by Max to defeat several opponents.

For instance, Max defeats Tyson in the original series with Draciel. Tyson is meant to be one of the best Beybladers and has the strongest spiritual connection with his Bey, so for Max, this is a strong achievement.

It’s also the first Beyblade with a completely plastic core.

Known for being one of the Beyblades that can spin forever, and delivering heavy attacks, bladers hate coming up against Phantom Orion.

His battles with Tyson (who is the main character) always seem to come close, leaving many fans in a constant debate about who is strongest. Tyson even admits that Kai is better than him. In addition, Kai is the only person able to control black Dranzer, which is considered uncontrollable due to its power.

1. L Drago Destructor

L Drago

Initially known as “The Forbidden Bey”, L-Drago came from a meteorite carrying dark energy through space. Ryuga finds L-Drago after hearing of a forbidden Beyblade hidden inside a template at Koma Village. He then raids the temple and passes the booby traps to become L-Drago’s owner. Ryuga and L-Drago defeat many opponents, in fact, his win percentage is very impressive, scoring a high 97% in the Metal Fury series. The only loss was against Rago and Diablo Nemesis during the Nemesis Crisis.

For us, the most powerful Beyblade is L-Drago due to its owner Ryuga being arguably the most powerful Beyblader. He lost only two battles, one of which was to Gingka, and the plot of that episode was that Ryuga’s Bey L-Drago was controlling him.

Combinations: L-Drago 105F, Lightning L-Drago 100HF, Meteo L-Drago LW105LF, L-Drago Destructor F:S, L-Drago Guardian S130MB

What does this mean for competitive Beyblade?

The good news about competitive Beyblade is that you can always find a way to win regardless of which type of Beyblade you have at hand!

With the right launch technique, you can turn an Attack Beyblade that can struggle against every other type, into a monster of high risk and high reward!

A great example of an Attack Beyblades is the new Stone Nemesis N7 and Salvage Valtryek Rashad V7, which can turn their typically-low defense into a respectable stat when used with a great launch technique!

Another aspect to competitive is how the meta, (the popular strategy or unspoken rule), evolves and adapts as more Beyblades are created and the results after each competition are released.

The meta can heavily influence what Beyblade you choose to take into battle, for example, with the power of Stamina types currently, Defense types are less common.

The choice is up to the competitor if they want to opt for the popular choices and hone their skill in other areas while the better-performing Beyblade takes care in the ring, or if they want to choose the anti-meta route, and take your opponents by surprise with a unique choice of spinner that can beat the more common ones through un-common means!

Whatever the way you would like to get into competitive Beyblade, having fun is the most important thing, and Toptoys2u is here to help you for all your Beyblade needs!
